Your HubSpot already knows the companies.

Season 2, Episode 5 of "Superpowers" – documenting how we're replacing the media agency for smaller businesses, so they can capture leads they'd otherwise never get. Follow Season 2 here: smoc.ai/blog/categories/superpowers. Season 1 of 5 Minutes is here: smoc.ai/blog/categories/5-minutes-series.

We just released our HubSpot plugin. Here is how to use it.

Most teams already know who they should talk to. The names sit in HubSpot: last quarter's opportunities, the accounts a rep is working, the customers who might introduce someone else. The agent can start there.

Reach the people already in HubSpot

Pick a HubSpot list and the LinkedIn agent can work it. A list of open deals. A list of customers. A list of people who went quiet six months ago.

The list stays in step with HubSpot. Add someone on Monday, and they can be part of the outreach. Mark someone do-not-contact, and they stay out. Customers and open deals stay available, so a campaign can follow the accounts you are already trying to win.

Where a person has no LinkedIn profile yet, SMOC can look one up. The agent then reaches the people it can actually message.

Picture a founder who closed twenty conversations last year and never followed up. That HubSpot list becomes this month's LinkedIn campaign, without building a search from scratch.

See every new lead in HubSpot

A conversation can start somewhere else and still land where the team already works.

Someone fills in a form on the website, or steps through a landing page, and they show up in HubSpot with their company and what they told you. Someone replies yes on LinkedIn, and that same HubSpot contact gets the reply, the profile, and the headline, ready for a salesperson to pick up. A no stays in SMOC, with the thread.

The useful picture is one place for the yes. Paid traffic, the site, and LinkedIn can all hand a person to HubSpot. The rep opens HubSpot in the morning and the new conversations are already there.

Start from the companies you care about

Sometimes you know the account and not the person. A HubSpot company list is enough to begin: the targets for the quarter, the logos a partner named, the accounts marketing already warmed up.

SMOC also notices companies that showed up on their own. An employer already on a contact. A company that visited a web flow. Those can sit beside the HubSpot companies, as one set of accounts to work.

From there you can find the people at those companies on LinkedIn. Add a company to the list later, and the search can pick it up. The campaign grows as the account list grows.

That is the shift. You open the companies HubSpot already believes are worth your time, and you meet the next buyer there.

Salesforce, Lime, and AiFlow are on the same path and coming soon. The HubSpot plugin is the one you can use today. How to use the HubSpot plugin.
