How do I take over from the agent mid-conversation?

Inbox does not use a separate “Take over” button. Human handoff is the Suggested Replies pause: open the thread, optionally pick a suggestion that matches the reply sentiment, and send.

After you send, the flow resumes from that operator action. Use filters such as Unanswered or awaiting-reply states to find threads that need you.
