How do I connect SMOC landing pages to Meta, Google Ads, and LinkedIn ads?
Category: Channels & embeds
If the company is invoiced, connect Meta, Google, LinkedIn, or ChatGPT ads in Console → Settings → Integrations, accept the DPA, and copy the URL parameters from that page. Point the ad at the Flow URL. Meta, Google, and LinkedIn use OAuth. ChatGPT uses an Ads API key. Paste a Pixel ID to use that pixel; SMOC adds contents_viewed, lead_created, and custom smoc_link_click to it and does not create another pixel. A pixel is created only when the account has none. If ChatGPT returns 404 or 403, paste the Pixel ID and Conversions API key from Ads Manager. Meta parameters go on each ad’s Tracking → URL parameters. Google parameters go in the Final URL suffix (the Final URL stays the Flow URL). LinkedIn parameters go in account or campaign URL tracking, using {{AD_SET_ID}} — not {{CAMPAIGN_ID}}. ChatGPT parameters are utm_source=chatgpt&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=<campaign name>&utm_id=<campaign id>; replace the two placeholders, and ChatGPT appends oppref. Interaction, lead, and Smart Click then upload from the published web flow. Keep Head Tags for PageView on Meta, Google, and LinkedIn. ChatGPT has no Head Tags pixel. If you have not connected those three, use Head Tags pixels and Custom HTML callbacks instead. To pass UTMs on to a shop or partner URL, enable Forward UTM & click IDs on the Link Message.
